Very important Museum for the Palestinian history, Highly recommend. The place is surrounded by very nice garden and walking paths. A must visit to understand more the Palestinian modern history.

I'm only giving it a 4 because when I came it was closed, but the outside of the building is a beautiful place to walk around. Hopefully I'll come again and be able to go inside the museum and see what it's all about.

A must-see if you want to understand the Palestinian experience. The curators did an excellent job not only in selecting key points in Darwish's life and the Palestinian story, but they also made the space intimate and reverant at the same time. They play Simon Bitton's famous documentary about Darwish which is also great. Finally, the gift shop has a good selection of special items reasonably priced. I got 3 T-shirts, 2 mugs, 2 books, and a bracelet for $100.

It is a modern and very well-kept museum, that tells the story of one of the most important people of Palestinian culture. Here you can find the poet's belongings, and some of his original manuscripts. There is an open air theatre and a beautiful garden here. This cultural place was designer by architect Jafaar Touqan, the son of the late Palestinian poet Ibrahim Touqan. I really enjoyed this place. The Museum's suvenir shop is also worth a visit.

Beautifully built museum complex! The museum itself is rather small, but very interesting. Anyone interested in Palestinian history and the works of Mahmoud Darwish must visit.
