My wife and I had a reservation at Zest for her birthday, we arrived on time, however, we had to wait around 30 mins until they “get a table ready for us” as they said. It seemed that the place was overbooked and that they didn’t plan out the reservation as you’d expect at such a restaurant. After the long wait, a small table was put to accommodate us in an unsuitable location that was a pathway for other tables, we asked them to put is in a different place because people and waiters were pumping into us, which created an uncomfortable situation for us and the surrounding table - who also complained about our table location. After an additional 30 mins of waiting our complaint wasn’t addressed, so we ended up leaving after a total of 60 mins of wait, unserved, and not properly seated. I think this reflects their poor handling of seating arrangements and reservations, and I can safely say that it was the most uncomfortable and unprofessional dining experience we have ever had.

Wow — that’s the only way to start. Zest Restaurant in Ramallah delivers an amazing experience from start to finish. From the beautiful décor and great vibe to the excellent service and outstanding food, everything was on point. It was so good I had to go twice in one week. The beef tartare, eggplant tartare, yogurt salad, focaccia bread, burrata salad, and halloumi salad were all incredibly flavorful and well executed. Every dish tasted amazing. The freekeh risotto and hanger steak were truly above normal — memorable and perfectly cooked. Zest is a must-visit in Ramallah, and I’ll definitely be back again.

Beyond amazing.. By far one of the best restaurants in Ramallah if not the best.. Highly recommended, authentic Mediterranean food with local Palestinian creative twist.. Delicious dishes, impressive ambiance en first class service.. Worth visiting en enjoying of you are in Ramallah.. congratulating staff en owner very well done..

Great restaurant, nice interior, service is perfect as well as food. Meats are great, looking and tasting perfect as well as the appetizers. Their nargile is also amazing and really enjoyed the whole experience

Presentation, taste, fresh ingredients, appropriate prices... This place has it all. This place is in my opinion an essential restaurant to visit if you're in Ramallah and want to eat truly good food. The flavors are delicate, the portions are generous. The only thing that may stand out is the mediocre service but that can be overlooked with the fact the great care taken in preparing the the meals you ask for. Large variety of Mediterranean salads and main dishes prepared extremely well. Fair warning though, there are no truly desirable dessert offerings. The panacotta is dry and I doubt any of the desserts are prepared in house which could explain the disparity in quality. -1 star only for the average service and lack of dessert options, otherwise the rest of what you'll have at this place is as perfect as it can get.
